Culverkeys mares and foals grazing together
on summer’s day in the Dandenong Ranges.
Culverkeys Stud is a member of the Australian Miniature Pony Society (AMPS) and is situated in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges just forty-five minutes from Melbourne’s CBD. The famous Puffing Billy Steam train can be heard in the distance from the pony paddocks.
Culverkeys is a small stud striving to breed ponies of sound conformation and friendly disposition in an environment that allows the ponies to receive individual attention.
Each pony has it’s own personality, likes and dislikes and it is always a pleasure to be greeted at the paddock gate by an eager herd of ponies as though you were a long lost friend.
Although it is difficult to part with any of the ponies it is always a pleasure to see a pony go to a responsible and caring home knowing that it will give as much joy as it receives.
Each new breeding season produces between 2 and 4 gorgeous foals, some of which are made available for sale. To view this season’s foals please take a tour through our gallery of photos where you will meet this small but delightful equine family.
